Raymond Lam's Muscles Turned To Fat

As a siu sung, Raymond Lam not only gets the main lead in many series, but also is being wanted as a singer under EEG. Even though he has potential, and he is handsome, he is overweighted!
Last Wednesday, he was filming for "The Legendary Era", and the scene talked about him in a folding cover contest. He excited put his hands up and scream, showing his belly fat, and revealed his stomach hair. The director then quickly say, "Raymond Lam, your hands are too high, let's do a retake." It's not good to look at, better if it's hidden.
Shirley Yeung and Ron Ng Popular in Shenzhen

TVB's first licenced outlet in China opened in Shenzhen earlier and Shirley Yeung and Ron Ng were there as guess for the event. They took part in the press conference first, where they met some fans and split off into two teams 'Hai Hai Team' and 'Kei Kei Team' to play games. Shirley's team won in the end and they all grouped together for a photograph.
Then Ron and Shirley rushed over to the store for the opening and some fans watched some of their new series inside the store and when they saw the two stars, they were stunned and hysterical. The store was totally packed with fans and Ron and Shirley shook hands with them, whilst telling them to be careful.

Leila Tong Uses Sammul as Archery Target

Leila Tong and Sammul Chan have been working together again recently, filming in Hengdian for mainland production "The Last Princess". They will be there until March and although the weather is very cold there and there is not much leisure, they are busy filming from morning to night so it is very fulfilling and they are not bored at all. Leila has fallen ill though and had to go to hospital, where she was put on a drip. A rather untactful Sammul made things worse by complaining to her, because they were due to film a kissing scene. He said: "She is still unwell and I am scared that she will infect me."
However, in another scene, Leila sought her revenge as her character used Sammul as a target for her archery practice. When the cameras rolled, Sammul was so frightened that he was covering himself up, calling to her saying: "Hey, watch it! Don't aim randomly."

Ella Koon Refuses to Comment on Ron & Charmaine Rumours
Recently, it has been reported that Ron Ng and Charmaine Sheh have an underground love relationship. Ron’s rumoured girlfriend, Ella Koon, refused to answer any questions regarding the relationship.
Ella and Ankie Lau yesterday attended a public event, when asked to comment on Ron and Charmaine’s rumours, Ella immediately put her pointer finger in front of her lips to tell reporters that she will not comment and hopes that the media do not ask her. Ella’s assistant then immediately spoke on behalf of Ella and told reporters that Ella will not be answering any questions regarding Ron Ng.
Ron Ng Secretly Drives Charmaine Sheh; the Two have an Underground Love

Charmaine Sheh is the "Queen of Hong Kong Series", but her rumors are with TVB's Siu Sangs. Lately, Sudden Weekly magazine had a report stating Ron Ng and her have an underground love as she was seen at the parking lot of his house and Ron driving her. After she got off the car, Ron discovered there were reporters and covered his face to avoid seeing others.
Ron Covers Face and Rejects Interview
Charmaine and Benny Chan dated for 4 years, but because TVB opposes relationships within the industry, they could only have an underground relationship. Who would’ve guessed they would cut off this relationship purposely at the end of last year. And she changed to having an underground love with Ron.
Pretends to be Lost and Denies
Even after being caught in pictures of him driving her, Charmaine pretends to be lost; but the male party honestly states it was out of convenience after work to drive her. It's only that the reporters checked his filming schedule and found out he didn't even have work that day, and after he gave her a lift, he immediately went home; this convenience is just too forced.
Charmaine was Caught in Pictures Getting off Ron's Car
Charmaine and Ron's rumors started off at the end of last year, where it was said they were at a club drinking and singing Karaoke and she suddenly sat on his thighs. Yesterday, Ron accepted a radio interview and when these rumors were mentioned, he said there wasn't such incident and he isn't too close with Charmaine as they only collaborated recently for the first time to film The Drive of Life.

Smiles All Round at Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Awards

[Ta Kung Pao 22/01/07]
A group of TVB artistes including Ron Ng, Raymond Lam, Moses Chan, Myolie Wu and Bernice Liu headed over to Malaysia on Saturday to take part in the 2007 Astro Wah Lai Toi Drama Awards Ceremony. They took away with them a vast array of awards including Favourite Lead Roles, Favourite Characters, Favourite Couple and Favourite Theme Song in what was a rewarding event.
After returning to Hong Kong yesterday, the artistes attended a celebratory party at the Regal Airport Hotel to mark their success at taking TVB dramas overseas. At the awards, Myolie Wu and Moses Chan took the leading role awards for their roles in "War of In-Laws" and "The Gentle Crackdown" and Myolie indicated excitedly that this was the first time she has received such an award and it made her extremely happy. Asked if this was a consolation to her losing out to Charmaine Sheh at this year's TVB Anniversary Awards, Myolie disputed this, saying: "They are two different matters and cannot be compared to each other. The tastes of the viewers in the two countries are very different."
Myolie has been filming alongside rumoured couple Ron and Charmaine in the new series "The Drive of Life" and asked if Ron has ever given her a lift in his 'chariot', she says that he has, but never alone because he also gives other colleagues lifts. Asked if she believes the two are dating, Myolie smiles: "It could happen? They are both still single, so it is all perfectly normal."
For Moses who took the male lead award and then went on to take the Favourite Couple award with rumoured girlfriend Bernice Liu, he was still modest as ever as he said: "Fortunately Ah Wong (Roger Kwok) wasn't there, otherwise my chances would be frozen! Haha..." Talking of him being recognised as a couple with Bernice by the Malaysian viewers, he did not respond directly, but just complimented her, saying: "Bernice is very hardworking and has done very well. I believe that she will do well in the future, because she is a natural performer on the stage. (If she does better, then the difference between you will be greater?) I don't want to talk about rumours."
Bernice graciously congratulated Moses and is happy for him. As for him complimenting her, she says: "I am thankful for his praises and I really do love singing, dancing and entertaining the viewers on stage." As for her being recognised as a couple with Moses, she says: "I don't mind working with Moses as a celebrity couple, if the company organises it, I will do it."
After his rumours with Ella Koon fade, Ron was immediately linked with Charmaine after filming together in "The Drive of Life". Ron denied the rumours again at yesterday's event: "These stories were made up based on the photographs and I don't want to respond."
Asked if he had given Charmaine a lift in his black Audi, he says frankly: "Yes, that day, were had finished filming for 'Drive' and I gave her a lift as it was on the way. (The schedules suggest that you did not finish at the same time?) You cannot always rely on the schedules, usually they just call to tell us what we are filming on each day. (The reports suggest that she left from your home?) It was all made up." Continuing the questions about whether he would develop a relationship with Charmaine, he mocks himself saying: "Charmaine is a Best Actress, how can I reach up to her? (Each time you give a girl a lift, you start gossip. Will you be more careful in future?) Taking a female colleague home is a very ordinary thing and if there was something there, then why would I do this in the light of day?"
Raymond received a Best Character and the Best Theme Song award. Asked if the song award has increased his confidence in singing, he says directly: "A little, for a TV artiste to be accepted on a different level by the viewers is a good thing." Talking of the rumours that he will be signing for EEG as a singer, he says that he was in contact with them at the end of last year, but everything has been left to the company to decide. If this goes ahead, he will have to wait for "Drive" to finish filming first.
After winning the supporting actor award, Raymond Cho was asked if he will now marry his fiancee, but he just said: "We have an understanding that I will be concentrating on my work for the next few years."

Deep Ng and Nancy Wu Still Say Hi

[The Sun 20/01/07]
The 2007 World Boutique Show was held earlier to mark the grand finale of the Hong Kong Fashion Week held by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and numerous celebrities and models were invited to take part, including Yumiko Cheng, Deep Ng, Nancy Wu, Vincent Wong and Vivien Yeo and they model creations from Hong Kong's best young designers.
After their break up, this was the first event that Deep and Nancy had attended together and Nancy said graciously: "I did say hi to him and I don't find it awkward. We are both still friends. (Why did you not appear together?) The rundown was set by the organisers." She also smiled that she has wanted to do a fashion show for a while and she has had a special hairstyle done that adds an extra few inches to her height and reduce the difference between her and the other models. She adds she has no interest in the six foot tall male models. Deep says: "We will not be embarrassed, it is just a job and I did greet her. I am not as petty as that."

Steven Ma Suffers on Rides - Unwell Bernice Watches the Fun

[Ta Kung Pao 18/01/07]
Steven Ma, Bernice Liu, Ron Ng, Shirley Yeung and Kenneth Ma were among the cast memebers promoting "The Brink of Law" at the Tamar Site Carnival yesterday. They had originally planned to go on three of the rides, but after two, they had already had enough, so they changed the third activity to a sidestall to try and win prizes. In the end, it was Steven's team that won overall. Whilst Steven was going on the 'Speed Windmill' ride, the safety mechanism was pressing on his sensitive regions, but Ron and Kenneth were fine. Steven laughs: "Well, I am more well endowed than them!"
The stars split into two groups to go on the slide and rides and when Steven went on them, he could not keep his eyes open. He says: "I am not afraid of heights, but I am afraid of the pull against gravity. I usually just go on the merry-go-round, but seeing the girls going on the rides as well, then I couldn't pull out. I have had an irregular heartbeat since I was a child, so I was worried about fainting if I get over-excited."
Steven went on to warn the men about going on this ride, because his genitals were being crushed by the safety mechanism all through his ride. He laughs: "I asked Kenneth about it, but he said he didn't feel anything. (Maybe you have more there?) Well I am more endowed, in the show, they all call me big brother!" Steven understands the need for the harness, but he feels that it does not cater for the feelings of their male customers and if he was a little fatter, then it could have crushed them entirely. Asked if he was in pain, he laughs: "Well we are very elastic! I can handle it." As for the chance of him fainting, he decided against going on the rather exhilarating 'G Force' ride and opted to throw balls to win toys instead because he has quite a good aim and once won over twenty toys for his nephew.
Ron used to love going on rides, but now he is very scared and has become less brave. Talking of Steven's crushing experience, he asks: "So strong? I didn't have it! I was just bothered about holding onto the water balloon. (Have you brought a girlfriend before to win toys?) I tried the game three or four years ago, but I did not have a girlfriend then. Usually when I go dating, we will go to the cinema and rarely play games. Buying them is better because sometimes you can spend several hundred dollars and just win one toy, so it is better to just buy one." Kenneth just has a cameo role in the show and his character has already died. He jokes: "I am wondering why they have asked a dead person to come and do this promotion. (Steven had a crushing problem with the safety latch?) I didn't. Maybe he has more than me."
Shirley dropped her water balloon very early on when she was on the ride and she says it has been eight or nine years since she went on a ride. Although she is not afraid of heights, she is very afraid of the forces and gravity, so she was a little dizzy afterwards. Asked if she will bring her boyfriend to go on the rides, she says she will not because the only reason she is going on them is for work. As for her role in the show being the villain, she says that some viewers have complimented her performance and not scolded her. This has given her a great satisfaction. Later in the show, she will be even more evil, getting someone to rape Kate Tsui's character and then murder people, so this may be a shock to the viewers.
Bernice has been working too hard lately and has become unwell, with her voice being husky for over two weeks and still unwell at yesterday's event. She is also suffering from an imbalance in her ears, so she dare not go on the rides at the amusement park yesterday, just supporting from the side. She says: "I suffer from vertigo and even if was not unwell, I cannot go on overly exhilarating rides. The most I will go on is a big wheel."
Bernice's dedication can be seen by all, so she thinks that this illness was brought on by her schedule being too packed. She says: "I had to go to hospital on two occasions because I had a high fever and I even fainted in my home. Luckily my uncle was around." Although the company has allowed her to take a few days off to rest, she does not want to affect the progress of her series, so she was rushing to get back to work. She says: "The company is very good, the work over the past few days has been very easy and relaxed, so I have paid for drinks and snacks for the cast and crew."
She also smiles that maybe because she won the award at the JSG awards and this left her too happy and so she developed a fever from the excitement. Asked if rumoured boyfriend Moses Chan has congratulated her, she syas: "I have not received a congratulatory message from him. (Will you celebrate with him?) No, because I have already paid for everyone's food."

Em's Note: These awards are based on the series that have been aired in 2006 on Astro Wah Lai Toi and therefore may seem a little old. However, the awards are still prestigious and shows the influence that these characters have had in the overseas market. It is interesting to see how they compare with the Hong Kong awards.

Ron Ng & Kate Tsui Hot on the Catwalk
Translated by dee-lush @ http://asianfanatics.net/forum/
From: http://www.tnplace.com/forums/
Source: MingPao

Ron Ng and Kate Tsui earlier walked the cat walk for the ‘KOYO William Cheung 07 Collection’. When Kate was asked if she was brave enough to model swimwear, Kate expressed that it is ok as long as it is pretty but the sex appeal level must be monitored by TVB who will decide if the job is suitable for her. On Wednesday night, Kate had her own private changing room so it was ok but the actress disclosed that she would be embarrassed to change in front of other models.

Ron is currently working on television series ‘歲月風雲’ and is being taught how to drive cars by Chin Ka Lok. Despite getting his license for driving manual cars 7 years ago, Ron has not had many chances to drive. In ‘歲月風雲’ there will be many car stunts but Ron hopes to do most of the stunt filming himself, leaving only the most dangerous bits for professionals. Ron praised Chin Ka Lok for having good driving skills and always taking safety measures.

Ron Gets Mouthful of Lipstick After Kissing Kate

[The Sun & Ta Kung Pao 18/01/07]
Ron Ng and Kate Tsui attended a radio interview to promote their new series "The Brink of Law" yesterday and talking about a kiss scene in the show, there were too many people on set at the time and it made Kate feel quite embarrassed. Ron revealed that during filming, Kate put on a thick layer of lipstick, so when they kissed, he felt like he was sticking to her and thinking back, he finds it quite funny. However, he says that it was just a peck and even without NG's, they still had to do it four or five times to get all the camera angles.
As for the recent rumours that Ron has frightened record company BMA by his behaviour and they are not signing any more TVB artistes as a result, he says he has not heard this rumour and does not believe that he will affect the decision of the record company to sign other talented singers. What about his own contract with them? Ron says that this is in the hands of TVB and he is unclear about this. He says: "I feel that for artistes who can sing, they will not be affected." As for the comments about the negative press he seems to be having recently, Ron smiles and says that this was last year and he has not had any this year. He says that he will work hard this year.
As for good friend Bosco Wong's ex-girlfriend revealing her cosmetic surgery stories, Ron says he does not know her and their relationship is in the past and should not be brought up/ Asked if he would accept his girlfriend having a boob job or surgery, he says directly he cannot accept this because he feels natural beauty is the best.

Bosco Wong Embarrassed by Ex-Girlfriend

Bosco Wong's ex-girlfriend, Carisa Yan, has become the spokesperson for a cosmetic surgery company. The model also announced that she had undergone surgery for breast enlargement 5 years ago. Yesterday, at a function, Bosco was asked if Carisa had undergone breast enlargement to please him. Embarrassed, the young actor said that he was unsure. Bosco then disclosed that he believes that middle sized busts are the best. When asked if Myolie Wu's body fit the category, Bosco laughed and expressed that his own body is not bad.
Regarding the reports of Bosco singing last for the themesong of '大話妹', Bosco expressed that he will be singing together with Raymond Lam and Kenneth Ma. When taking about rumours of Ron Ng objecting BMA's idea of helping Bosco release an album, Bosco stated that his singing career is managed by TVB.

Bosco Wong Gains Young Fans with Keroro Song

Bosco Wong was filming at the Tamar Site Universal Carnival yesterday for the music video to his third cartoon theme song for "Keroro Guncho 2". He says that he will take this chance to win some more young fans. With the song for the first series being sung by Kevin Cheng, does this mean that he is taking over Kevin's position? He says that this is not the case, because this song has been recorded for a long time and has already won him a Children's Song Award. It had been agreed that he and Kevin would have one each. When he was younger, his favourite cartoon character was Doraemon.
Despite being at the carnival, Bosco indicated that he daren't go on the rides because he does not like the pull against gravity and the most he will ride is a rollercoaster. He says: "A lot of my friends invited me to come and try them, but I turned them down . I can accept if I don't have to go on them myself."
Many members of the public surrounded him for photographs yesterday and Bosco indicates that when he went to watch Rain in concert earlier, he was also surrounded by his fans. When it was suggested he was stealing fans from Rain, he says: "I did not mean to, maybe because 'Dicey Business' has been aired recently, so there were a lot of people who wanted to photograph me." He will be heading out to Nagoya today with Natalie Tong to film on location for "The Seventh Day".

Bosco Wong Picks Up Third Hand Singing Job

(File Photo)
[The Sun 14/01/07]
TVB has liked to promote its own artistes as singers in recent years and even the theme song for the Korean series "My Girl" that premieres this evening will be sung by Bosco Wong. Reports indicate that originally Raymond Lam and Kenneth Ma were auditioned for this song, but in the end the job rested with third choice Bosco.
TVB is currently promoting the musical career of Raymond after he proved his ability to sing and dance last year and originally had asked him to sing the Cantonese theme song for "My Girl", however Raymond was unable to record due to illness and Kenneth was called in urgently to replace him. However, with the song based on a rap, it was realised after two hours of rehearsals that it was too difficult for Kenneth to sing and he gave up. Still eager to keep the work within the fold, they passed the job over to Bosco and fortunately as he had done some rapping for the theme song to his earlier series "War of In-Laws" with Liza Wang, he performed well and delivered the desired result.
Bosco does not mind picking up the third-hand job: "This is very normal. The company often calls us all in to test a song and who can't sing? Maybe this song was more suitable for me." He admits that the song is quite difficult: "There is a little bit of rapping in there and the lyrics are quite complex and you really have to get your pronunciation right." He admits that he hopes to release a record of his own in the future, so when he has time, he will take proper lessons from a singing teacher.
Kenneth also admits that he tried the song, but rap is not really suited to him: "Bosco would definitely handle it better than me. To be frank, I do only have a small interest in rap and I rarely listen to it. On the day, they called me in last minute to try singing and I had to learn it there and then on the spot in the space of less than two hours. I don't mind not singing it, but I do hope to have my own songs in the future so I can sing it when I am making money doing stage performances."

Leila Tong Prefers Waiter Look to Elegant Lady

[The Sun 16/01/07]
In the mainland production "The Last Princess", Leila will be playing her character from the age of 16 to 30 and so will have many different looks through the series, including an elegant lady, wearing chipaos and being a bride. She says excitedly: "All the feminine images are very beautiful, but the costumes are too intricate and I am very afraid to walk around. The waiter outfit allows me to rush around and makes me feel more free. (Dressing as a man, you have to bind your breasts?) I don't find it hard, this is an advantage of being flat-chested. When I was younger, I had to play a young Leslie Cheung in one film and it was good fun."
As she will be working in Hengdian where it is freezing, she has to prepare plenty of warm packs every morning, but the wide sleeved costumes leave her susceptable to the cold wind: "The top layer is too wide and the skirt is very big, so the cold wind gets into those spaces."

"Jewel's Splendor" Press Conference

[Ta Kung Pao & The Sun 16/01/07]
TVB's 80-episode grand production "Jewel's Splendor" held its costume fitting and press conference yesterday, attended by stars including Ada Choi, Gigi Lai, Maggie Shiu, Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, Wong He, Bosco Wong and Linda Chung among the cast that numbers around 50 people. Executives Stephen Chan, Virginia Lok and Catherine Tsang were also present. As the story revolves around diamonds, the producers have called in sponsorships of the jewellery in the show that totals nearly $50 million, weighing in at a massive 423.5 carats. At the event, Ada, Gigi and Maggie all modelled jewellery worth over $10 million each. Gigi was the most eyecatching as she had also been sponsored with a fiery red deep-V Valentino dress that showed off her best Love Goddess assets. For security purposes, the sponsors had also provided six or seven guards to protect the jewellery and TVB's own security team were also on hand to keep the peace, sending four guards into the studio to keep watch. This show will include location filming in Qingdao, Beijing, Shanghai, Thailand and London as well as the diamond minds in South Africa.

Gigi, Ada and Maggie will be playing three sisters in the show, slightly reflective of the renowned Song sisters from the past. They all portrayed very elegant images and each wore a set of jewellery that consisted of a necklace, earrings, rings and bracelet. Gigi's set was the most expensive, worth $13 million and was emphasised by her designer dress, showing the recognition given to her by TVB. She says: "The dress was arranged with the sponsors by the company and I only realised how sexy it was when it arrived this morning. With it being low cut and seethrough, this is the sexiest I have been in recent years. (You are the sexiest one here?) It has surpassed my usual limits, so after the photographs, I have to put on a jacket. (Are you worried about exposing yourself?) Very, so I have put a little tape on it. (You are stealing the show?) Don't say that, everyone else is looking stunning." As well as being sponsored a number of outfits for the show, she will also be receiving handbag sponsorship for the series, so she does not need to use her own personal items. As for the show being filmed in High Definition, she will have to keep her appearance on top form, so she says she has a lot of sponsors for beauty products to keep her looking ravishing and attractive. Asked if she is laying the road for the Best Actress award in 2008, she says she has not thought about this award and she is just going to enjoy her work day-by-day.

Ada's jewels for the day were worth $11.2 million and she says she felt very stunned and the 9 carat diamond on her hand was the size of an eyeball, but her black tube dress was a little disappointing. She says that the costumes were arranged by the company and as for Gigi stealing the show, Ada says: "I have a good figure, so whatever I wear will look good and this dress helps to show the splendour of the jewellery! The most important thing is that the three sisters all look gracious and elegant, like three large diamonds." In the show she plays a character who loves being in the limelight and is very vain and she ends up marrying Elliot Yue. Although there is a large difference in their age, she feels she can portray this so that it is convincing. In real life, does she have to marry a rich man? She says that love is all about being true and you cannot say that rich men are without love, but she just wants someone who is ambitious and cherishes her, that would already be perfect.

The jewellery for Maggie was worth $11.5 million and this is the first time she has worn such expensive jewellery, so she laughs that she is wearing an apartment on her body. She felt a mixture of happiness and fear, but she rarely buys herself diamonds because other people will buy them for her. She says: "One of my aunts managed to lose her entire diamond bracelet when she was playing Mah Jong. Fortunately she managed to find it. I don't really wear diamonds much myself." Asked if she was worried about being overshadowed by Gigi, she says: "Everyone has their own characters, she (Gigi) is very beautiful today."

With the focus on the millions of dollars worth of diamonds worn by the ladies, the male cast members such as Moses, Bowie, Bosco and Ah He were very much left in the background. Bosco wore a 2 carat diamond earring, but this was far overshadowed.
Recently there have been reports that Bosco was the third choice to sing the theme song to popular Korean series "My Girl" after Raymond Lam and Kenneth Ma. He denies this and says that they all went to try out for it that day and in the end they selected him. There have also been suggestions that record company BMA are no longer signing TVB artistes after the the 'problems' experienced with Ron Ng. Does Bosco feel that Ron has ruined things for him? He does not feel that this is the case and he does not think that Ron has a lot of issues. He has left his singing career to the company to organise for him and he is in no rush, because he has a lot of other work arranged.
As for the other recent news about his ex-girlfriend Carisa Yan signing to be a cosmetic surgery spokesperson, Bosco says: "I don't know. (Did you know that she had breast enhancements then?) I did not notice. (Do you mind people having implants?) I'm not sure. (Do you like big breasts?) Average, a balanced figure." As for often being asked about his ex-girlfriend, does he feel really bad? He says that it is only normal to be asked. Is he worried that his current girlfriend will be jealous? He immediately says: "I don't have a girlfriend now."
Moses also has his ears pierced, but he did not wear any diamonds like Bosco did. He jokes: "I am already a diamond (bachelor), just uncut." Talking of his rumoured girlfriend winning an award at Jade Solid Gold but then being criticised heavily, he smiles: "You are treading dangerously! (Your good friend is accused of being a fix?) Bernice was very happy to win the award and she sang and danced very well. A lot of people see her hard work and with awards, there will be those who are happy and those who are disappointed, but she really did do well and to win was a great encouragement. I will be happy for her. (Have you comforted her?) I have just returned from the mainland, so I have not seen her."
Bowie and Ah He have been rumoured to have fallen out whilst filming for "Homeland Beauty" ealrier, so with them appearing together for the first time yesterday, the press asked why they were standing apart from each other and not greeting one another. Bowie explained that they had said hello on the stage and he even passed him a script. Bowie says: "Ah He and I are okay, the animoscity is just gossip and I should have posed for a photo with him on the stage. (Would you feel awkward?) No, we should take the chance to clear things up." As for Ah He, he left as soon as the press conference had ended, but he also said that there is nothing between him and Bowie and all the falling out was made up by the press and did not come from him, so he does not feel awkward. He says: "When we had our morning meeting, I greeted him. (Are you worried that there will be more rumours of animoscity during filming?) Even if there are, they won't be from me."

The Famous One In Love Fields-Raymond Lam
Love: No One Believes That He Wants It for RealEverybody, don't be affected by my rumours. In these 27 years, my love life has been incredibly boring. It must be because I went to an all boys' school. During my teenage years, I didn't say more than three lines to any girl, making me really shy. Even though I was curious about the opposite sex, but I didn't know how to start a relationship, until when I was in University, when I had my first love. After entering the entertainment industry, the company heavily prohibited dating, but the rumours still came. I know that I won't give people the wrong message and cause them to misunderstand , so all of my girl-friends are super "boy-like". My conclusion is that because I have a wealthy background so if there's rumors, to others it's simple dating, but for me it would be playing girls. All the other executives that don't know me well thinks that I'm one of the players, which is unfair! Even if I truly love someone, the results won't change.
Admits He Had Feelings For Rain Li
They say I'm "Prince of Rumors"? Actually of all rumors, only the one with Rain Li made more sense. That time we thought it was pretty okay, we can communicate, and she's cute. The rest I believe all the readers know, so I won't say more. Recently there are rumors with Linda Chung, saying I changed in front of her, and that she constantly sent SMS to me....... Even though we had a lot of close scenes together, but did I love her? Of course yes, but only during working times. I always pull myself out after work.Without love, it's like life is missing something. Do girls ask me out? Yeah, usually they ask for my phone number, but I tell them to write down theirs instead, and I throw the papers away afterwards! Haha.
Family: Stressed When Parents Want Me To Be Successful
As the eldest son, my parents have a lot of hopes on me, even if I'm a 27 years old adult, they see me as a little kid. They will always attend all my bigger performances, I will always spend a lot of time and practice. However, everytime after the performance, when I think it was "okay", my parents will point some areas where they think I didn't try hard enough, I can do better, or it's not perfect. I become extremely upset, but on the other hand, I understand that parents want their sons to be successful. As their son, I'll definitely work hard, and be a successful artist. I will try my best and won't embarass my parents.
Not Giving Up On Acting Career
Although my family is wealthy compared to others, but when I was a kid, my father's business was not as big, and my life was the same as any other kid. It was after my siblings were born, then my father became successful and the responsibilities of helping my father is on me. When I was in university, I was majoring in architecture, but in the end, I chose to be an artist. At first, my father gave me five years of time, if I can't achieve something, then I would have to help him with business. There was a time where my career was not as smooth, and I thought about quitting, but my younger brother says he's interested in business, and my younger sister is taking accounting right now. I'm sure that they will give my father some help, and I still don't want to give up on acting, so I will continue it until the end.
Career: Competition with Buddies
As an artist, I think that "opportunities" are very important. After "Twin of Brothers", I started to gain more fame, but the company decided to send me to open up the Mainland market. I admit that I was worried then, but I don't have a choice, so I entered the Mainland market. Luckily, the series I filmed in Mainland aired in Hong Kong also, so my worries were gone.Like they say, "If you gain something, you're bound to lose something ", during these years, the company had a lot of newbies, like Ron Ng, Bosco Wong, Kenneth Ma, and they were famous. If you ask me how I feel? The truth is I'm happy, because all those are my buddies, and knew each other for a long time. From another point of view, if there were no other artists as competitors, I will only be in series as someone's son or brother. I won't be able to improve if there was nobody to compete against me.
Closest With Ron Ng
Out of the "Five Tigers", I'm closest with Ron, because our personality and thoughts are very similar, sometimes we would know what each other want right away. The most important thing is, we wish each other well, so there won't be reports of us in disagreement. Plus, we have different styles, we won't steal each other's spotlight. If he is doing better in his career, wouldn't that be good? I accept this kind of positive competition.
